Dexterity, use of scissors, adept at cutting and shaping paper and plastic sheets.

Felt tipped Highlighter

Felt tipped pen or grease pencil

Scissors

Sharp knife

Yardstick and 18" ruler

Paper pattern which you will make

Back side of dinner plate or other smooth surface such as a large piece of plastic or varnished wood that you can adhere strips of tape to. Cut many strips of tape and stick them on the surface, then remove them to tape Velostat to the hat as you make the thought screen.
